20 years of peace of mind on every journey.
Every TransK9 crate is built for a specific car boot — not a generic shape that almost fits. Our crates are independently crash tested by a chartered mechanical engineer: front impact, rear impact, and roll-over drop tested. Zero component failures. Zero sharp edges created on impact. Rear escape door fully operational after every test.
Made in the UK. Used by police forces, rescue services, and professional dog handlers. Backed by a 10-year structural warranty.
Designed and manufactured in the UK. Delivered globally.
Our crates are fabricated from aerospace-grade aluminium — the same material used by Land Rover and Audi — chosen for its strength-to-weight ratio and its ability to absorb and displace impact energy. The same engineering that makes it a premium car material makes it the right choice for a crash-tested dog crate.
At 30mph, an unrestrained dog exerts up to 20 times its own body weight on impact. A 27kg Labrador becomes a 544kg projectile. A TransK9 crate is the only thing standing between your dog and that force.
Tailored to your car and your dog
Work. Rest. Play.
TransK9 crates are trusted by UK police forces, search and rescue teams, and professional dog handlers — because when your dog’s safety is part of your job, there’s no margin for compromise.
They’re also the choice for agility competitors, road trip regulars, and anyone who’s decided their dog deserves the same level of care as every other passenger.

When it mattered most.
Crash testing tells you what a crate can survive in a laboratory. These are the real journeys that confirmed it.
“All four dogs were sitting up, alert but calm and looked absolutely fine.”
In November 2013, Heidrun was driving across Exmoor with four spaniels in a brand-new TransK9 box when a transit van hit her Defender head-on at speed. The Defender was written off. Heidrun suffered whiplash and was taken to hospital. All four dogs — two English springers, a cocker, and a Clumber — were unharmed. The crate doors remained shut. Every rivet held.
“I am absolutely convinced that the TransK9 box saved my dogs’ lives.”
Heidrun Humphries, Land Rover Defender
“My vehicle was a complete insurance write-off. The TransK9 box had very little damage — both doors remained secure.”
Robin’s Honda CRV hit a tree in poor weather and rolled several times before coming to rest on its side. Robin was injured. His two working English Spaniels, Charlie and Bell, were in a TransK9 box in the rear. Both doors stayed locked. Both dogs were unscathed and back working at the next shoot.

The cost of not buying one.
Dogs are expensive passengers — chewing, scratching, wet fur, muddy paws. The damage adds up, and your insurer won't cover it. A TransK9 crate pays for itself. Most owners just wish they'd bought one sooner.
