Vehicle Modification to Accommodate Cages
If you intend to modify your vehicle in anyway such as removing rear seats to accommodate a larger than recommended dog cage or to permanently build cages into your car or van, please speak to your insurance company first, as there may be insurance implications if you do so.

Methods of Payment
You can pay by debit/credit card through Opayo, however if you subsequently cancel your order, there will be a charge for card processing. Payment may also be made by credit transfer directly into our bank account, please note we are no longer able to accept cheques for payment. If you pay by PayPal, and subsequently cancel your order, there will be a deduction of the PayPal fee charged to us.

Terms of Payment
On stock items payment is required in full at the time of order. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of ordering on all products that are manufactured to order. The balance becomes payable (cleared) prior to delivery with no exceptions. All goods remain the property of TransK9 Ltd until payment is received in full. Credit facilities are extended only to those with approved credit accounts.

Returns
We hope you’ll be delighted with your purchase, but you can return any item/s for exchange or refund within 14 days of receipt, providing they remain unused and returned in their original packaging. Returns costs are paid by you, the customer, and it is your responsibility to ensure that goods returned arrive with us safely, very well packaged and in a saleable state. In the event of loss or damage in transit, it is your responsibility to claim compensation from the relevant courier company ( if you have arranged your own carrier ). Please allow 28 days for refunds/exchanges to be processed. Your request will be dealt with as quickly as possible and it is unlikely to take this long, but during busy periods things can take longer than usual and we may need the extra time to process your refund/exchange. If we are arranging the return of goods correctly supplied, you ( the customer ) will incur a recollection charge of the same value as the original delivery charge. All returned items must be in their original packaging and unopened. No refund will be given until the goods have been returned and thoroughly inspected by TransK9 Ltd. Any items found to have been modified, tampered with, incomplete or showing any signs of damage or use will not be accepted back into stock under any circumstances. A re-stocking charge of £25 will be made to cover repackaging and also a charge for any payment fees incurred.

Collection
Dog transit boxes can be collected from our premises in South West Scotland. Our opening times are 9am-4pm Monday to Friday by appointment only.

Warranty

Dog Cages
All TransK9 Ltd products supplied for commercial use are guaranteed for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.

All Dog Transit Boxes for supplied for domestic use and purchased after the 20th of March 2013 are covered by our non-transferable 10 year structural warranty. This warranty covers the main body of the box against structural failure (during its intended use for the transportation of dog/dogs), removable central divider (if fitted), hinges, door locks, Exclusions Failure due to, Accident/Impact Damage,Internal rubber matting/plastic trim, Powder coated finish (guaranteed for 24 months from date of purchase), Damage caused by chewing Mesh/Doors.  During the warranty period defective products will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. The cost of returning such items for warranty work will be solely at the expense of the customer.

TransK9 Accessories
All TransK9 accessories are covered by our own 12 months warranty, items covered inc. Bumper Mats, Anchorage Straps, Ratchet Straps, Travel Bowls & Vet Bed. The warranty covers product failure, not failure due to chewing or product damage or mis-use. Warranty items should be returned to TransK9 for replacement or repair. The cost of returning any warranty items unless otherwise agreed will be paid by the customer.

TransLock Storage Drawers
The warranty period on TransLock Storage Drawers is 24 months. Exclusions Failure due to, Accident/Impact Damage, Internal rubber matting/plastic trim, Powder coated finish.  During the warranty period defective products will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. The cost of returning such items for warranty work will be solely at the expense of the customer.
Please Note,
The “TL” range of secure storage drawers are designed for the safe, secure transportation of various goods from A to B, they are not designed for the overnight/long term storage of firearms as they do not comply with BS7558 (British Standard for gun cabinets) as they are made from aluminium not 2mm steel, we do not make them from steel as in the event of a serious RTA passenger safety could be seriously compromised.
Still a far more secure way of transporting firearms than the boot/trunk/rear seat of any vehicle.

Airflow Fans
Airflow Fans warranty extends to 24 months from the date of purchase including all components. Exclusions  failure due to chewing, Accident/Impact Damage, inappropriate removal of 12 volt plug resulting in damage to internal wiring. During the warranty period defective products will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. The cost of returning such items for warranty work will be solely at the expense of the customer.

Non TransK9 Ltd Products
Warranty – All products supplied by us on behalf of other manufacturers are covered by their own warranty. Please check at the time of ordering.
